 Why was the Elder Antipholus denied entry  into his own house?

  ANS. There was a comedy of error for which Elder Antipholus was denied entry into his own house. Antipholus of Syracuse  was having his dinner. Adriana thought that her husband was dining in the house. She did not have the least suspicion  that Antipholus of Syracuse was not her husband. In the meantime Elder Antipholus or Antipholus of Ephesus came back to his own home. But he was denied entry as he was supposed to be inside the house. This made Elder Antipholus furious and he  decided to leave the house.
